although our dear friend Meryl from FoundEastLondon cleary came on a less springy day, 

she bought our evil cat hat to match her furs!

Going abroad was the only way to enjoy our clothes without layers, like Rharha from thecapitalofcool, she came to the store with Petit Noir and got herself this jersey maxi and the top version, to wear in Thailand! lucky!

it's now 2013 and soon will be our 10th anniversary, we are blessed!

A new collection of one-off tees and shorts is now available at The Lazy Ones. Also, most of the first batch of pieces of s/s are now sold out! Remember all Des Moines garments are limited editions! So new versions are out now and will be posted shortly after we finish our little dance to the new yyy's album, in fact we have done a rather remarkable megamix of it's a bliz! and The Horrors's primary colours, yes we fancy that one too (though previous one was so bad).
Anyfashionbiz, next week new Des Moines s/s pieces will be out on Pixie Market, which is as cool as it gets right now on the web world, let's be honest!.

Cutting edges again!

To celebrate London Fashion Week we have been cutting tees again! and shorts! Come to The Lazy Ones in Brick Lane to get yours quickly because they'll be available for a limited period only.

This is more of a sample piece. We loved the fabric, a nice floral jean but like Tina we like it nice but we like it rrrrough, so Nat grabbed a cutter and looked decidely at me, i got a bit scared, i mean, i know i was guilty of not doing the dishes for a week but, did it have to come to this?! Luckily i think it was more of an eureka look as she just stared at the piece and ripped the frontal panelling. Of course, frayed jean!, pheeewww!

hi, lots of amazing new things happening to Des Moines, that's the main reason of the slow posting this october, but we'll tell you all about it later.

We have created a collection of cut-out t-shirts to celebrate london Fashion Week. Exclusively at The Lazy Ones, they are limited and will surely give you that extra edge needed in this town when the tube is full of models going to castings! Also we have a new version of the lacy dress, as the first batch is sold out!
